Owner & Head Dog Groomer
Qualified in 2003, Jo opened Bonnie Dogs as a Mobile Dog Grooming Service across Surrey. Following its success the Dog Grooming Salon in Bookham, Surrey was opened in 2010. Jo is always complimented on her level of patience with the excitable and those few grumpy dogs that we see from time to time. Jo has over the years turned scared, nervous dogs that have to be muzzled into dogs that bound through the door only to be cuddled. She has a real passion not just for dogs but for their welfare, happiness and loves nothing more than to see a dog relaxed and happy to be groomed throughout their life. Jo has over 18 years experience of owning her own dogs most of them rescue dogs so is always on hand to help owners with any problems they need sharing. Even after over 14 years of grooming thousands of dogs of all sizes, breeds and temperaments, Jo still loves her job and will treat your dog with the same care and attention as she does her own.
Dog Grooming Manager
Underneath her big smile, Emily is the cool, calm collected one out of us all and this reflects in her grooming as dogs just seem to calm down and relax when in Emily’s hands. After a year working in Doggy Day Care which gave Emily a solid base of knowledge for dogs needs and a great understanding of dog behaviour. Emily joined Bonnie Dogs in August 2016 it became very clear, very quickly that she had a real passion for dogs and a natural flair for Dog Grooming. Emily has now completed her City & Guilds Level 2 Dog Grooming and under Jo’s watchful eye is being supervised and taught so every dog she completes is done so to a very high standard with the best level of care given. Emily is currently gaining all the experience she can to go onto complete her Level 3 in 2018/19.
Abbey is a bubbly happy young lady who will greet you and your four legged friend with a smile. In the short time Abbey has been with us it has become clear she really wants not to just be a Dog Groomer but to be a great Dog Groomer to the best of her ability and really enjoys what she is doing and learning. Abbey, along with Emily under Jo’s watchful eye will be supervised and taught so every dog she completes is done so to a very high standard with the best level of care given and will complete Level 3 in 2018/19.
